B&K® Precision HSLA Roller Levelers can be supplied in a new Press Feed Line or retrofitted into an existing Press Feed System to precisely control flatness of your HSLA finished parts. Precision Roller Levelers are much better at removing coil set and crossbow than coil straighteners or coil flatteners. This arrangement allows the material to be worked beyond the yield point to remove trapped material stresses. The result is material that is more stable so that part quality is consistent. The material thickness range and the materials yield point determine the Roller Leveler work roll diameter.
30 HP AC Vector drive Roller Leveler with encoder feedback
B&K
® 36" 2.25 HSLA Roller Leveler was designed to process material from .021” to .120” thickness with a yield strength of 135,000 PSI. The B&K
® Precision HSLA Roller Leveler shown above was integrated in a new CWP Press Feed Line. A 30 HP AC Vector drive with encoder feedback was supplied to precisely regulate the line speed up to 100FPM and reduce coil clockspringing. A Custom Consolidated Control Package including pushbutton controlled thread up was included. A multi-color diagnostic touchscreen interface provides operator prompting of threading procedures, a maintenance schedule with service points for the entire system, on-screen digital roll position readouts, and in-depth diagnostic fault messages with recommended remedies.
The B&K® Precision 36" 2.25 HSLA Roller Leveler
The B&K
® Precision 36" 2.25 HSLA Roller Leveler shown above was integrated in a new Press Feed Line supplied by CWP. This 5-high Roller Leveler had 3 back-up flights with a single adjustable back-up flight, to provide shape correction. A 30 HP AC Vector drive with encoder feedback was supplied to precisely regulate the line speed.
A high lift head is standard for easy roll cleaning with HSLA Roller Levelers

This 5-high Roller Leveler had 3 back-up flights with a single adjustable back-up flight, to provide shape correction on HSLA material used to stamp automotive clutch, brake, and transmission parts. A 50 HP AC Vector drive with encoder feedback was supplied to precisely regulate the line speeds up to150 FPM. A high lift head is standard for easy roll cleaning.
B&K® 42" 2.25 HSLA Roller Leveler
B&K
® 42" 2.25 HSLA Roller Leveler was designed to process material from .021" to .110" thickness with a yield strength of 115,000 PSI. The B&K
® Precision HSLA Roller Leveler shown above was integrated with an existing uncoiler. A heavy duty material debender with an upper and lower hydraulically adjusted wing bender was supplied for ease of material thread-up from the existing uncoiler. This 5-high Roller Leveler had 5 back-up flights with three adjustable back-up flights, to provide shape correction on HSLA material used to stamp automotive transmission parts. Precision Roller Levelers eliminate coil shape defects that simple flatteners cannot remove. Small diameter leveler rolls with roller back-ups produce flat sheet free of stresses. The Flat parts stay flat and round parts stay round. A 50 HP AC Vector drive with encoder feedback was supplied to precisely regulate the line speed of 100 FPM. The advanced engineering design of the B&K
® backed-up roller leveler makes this unit a “one-operator” piece of equipment. The ease of operation reduces the need for operator skill, making for a better end product. B&K
® provides models for most gauge ranges, for applications in sheet leveling, parts leveling, cut-to-length lines, and other process lines.
